A partner to guide you in the most personal decisions a family makes.
Sector Cares was founded on a simple truth: aging well is a coordinated effort, and most families are asked to lead it without a guide.
We work alongside individuals, adult children, and the trusted advisors already in their lives — physicians, attorneys, financial planners, and care providers — translating complexity into a plan that holds together over time.
Our practice is intentionally small. Each engagement is led personally, with the time and attention these conversations require. We are not a placement agency; we are an independent advocate, accountable only to the family we serve.
The work is rarely urgent until it is. We help families prepare before a crisis and steady the ground when one arrives.
What we don't do
Clarity about our role is part of the service.
We do not give medical advice or make medical decisions. Those conversations belong with physicians and the family — we help prepare for them, document them, and carry their implications forward into the broader plan.
We are not an on-call or 24/7 service. Our work is steady, scheduled, and considered: monthly check-ins, ongoing planning, and facilitated decision-making as circumstances evolve. For acute, around-the-clock needs, we help families assemble the right providers.

Founder, Sector Cares
Aiken, SC
Sector Cares bears Agatha's name because the work began at home. She is living it herself — an aging parent, siblings far away, and no family nearby to share the load.
She found herself with a long list of questions and no one positioned to guide her through them: what to plan for, who to call, how to hold a family together across distance, and how to stay ahead of the next transition rather than always reacting to it.
Sector Cares is the partner she wished she'd had — built to offer other families the steadiness, perspective, and continuity that are so difficult to find when you need them most.
